Access Issue: Stapylton Campgraound is currently closed
Details
Sentinel and Guardhouse approaches are effected. Workers are still working on rebuilding the campground after the fires of 2014 destroyed significant portions of it.
Description
Over hanging cave with mostly harder sport routes and a couple of easy warm-ups, sheltered from the rain.
Getting There
Park at Stapylton Campground, follow the Ngamadjidj Shelter loop trail. at it's furthest point from the campground a small climbers trail will branch off to the left passing a smalla formation known as "Castle Crag". Keep walking, after a couple minutes the trail will become harder to follow, at about the same time the cave will be visible up above you. keep trending left, looking for cairns and a trail that leads through trees to a gully. Scramble up gully, two warm-up routes will be to the right at top of gully, outside of the cave. to the right of these will be ring bolts and fixed lines (may be in bad condition) to help traverse ledge into the main cave.
