Description
Right above the "N" in Northwest Reno. These boulders have been climbed for decades by countless kids, students, and others exploring the Peavine Mountain foothills above Reno. A fun beginner area for those new to climbing boulders.
Getting There
From I-80, take Virginia Street exit north. Pass through the UNR campus area, cross McCarren Blvd, and there is a parking lot just after the softball fields on the left a few miles from the exit (passed the University. Trailhead starts on West side of parking lot. Trail maps are posted at start of trailhead.
