Getting There

When you turn off highway 50 on Sierra-At-Tahoe Road, reset your odometer. 0.9 miles in, watch for a double track dirt pullout from the paved road on the right hand side, where you'll find a Pony Express trail sign. Park here. Cross the road to the uphill/east side, and follow a dirt singletrack hill to the Pony Express area you want to visit first.
