Climbers have access up to the roped fence. Owners do not want climbers going down to the river. There is also livestock that roams the forest. Please keep your dogs under control. Boulders on east side of river are off limits.
Description
The Hillside Sector covers the area spread between the Solitude Boulder eastward to the Sleight of Hand Area, and continues south, up the hill towards the Balcony Sector. This area has a scattering of fine problems throughout.
Getting There
- * Notice: The condition of the trail at this moment is essentially non-existent. The original trail is described below and can be roughly followed during late fall or early spring conditions.
A slight junction will appear in the main trail approximately 50m east of the Solitude boulder. This will take you directly to the problem 'American Trixter' and continue to skirt the edge of this portion of the talus until you reached 'Highlighter'. From here, you squeeze into the alcove to find 'Cool Hand Luke'.
Continuing left up the hill, out of the alcove, will take you to the Balcony sector.
