Description
Hank's World is located between Other Mother's and the Outback on Mother's Buttress. It is comprised of three distinct zones: The Main Wall, Sticks and Dicks Tower, and the Playground. The area is the last portion of Mothers that faces south before the gully that leads to The Outback. The Main Wall has the best rock and routes, Sticks and Dicks Tower is a house-sized block sitting in front of the Main Wall that has a mixed bag of difficulty and quality, and finally The Playground is found in an alcove left and slightly above the Main Wall.
Getting There
From the parking lot, take the left fork of the trail towards Other Mothers. Pass Other Mothers, continue walking for 5-10 minutes until Sticks and Dicks Tower is very close to the trail, and follow cairns on the east side of the tower to the base of the Main Wall. The approach takes 20-25 minutes. If you find yourself wandering up a north-trending gully, you've gone too far.
