Description Suggest change

This formation has one of the most classic and enjoyable climbs at the Pinnacles, the Regular Route. There are only two bolts for the entire lead, but a strong head keeps the leader concentrated on the easier sections between the bolts.

Getting There Suggest change

From the east side hike from the Condor Gulch trailhead (across from the east side ranger station) and gain lots of elevation.  Turn left at the junction with the Chalone Creek trail after 1.7 miles.  About a quarter mile after that you will see Dragonfly Dome on the right just off the trail. There may be a bit of brush, hopefully trimmed back.

From the west side from the junction with the northern end of the Tunnel Trail take the High Peaks trail north for about 0.2mi. At the first big right switchback the formation is on the west side of the trail.
