Description

The Sponge sits right next to the High Peaks Trail making it popular. All the holes on the northeast face make it look like a sponge. Both the Regular Route and the Left Side route are enjoyable outings.

Getting There

The Sponge is a large formation right off the High Peaks Trail just south of the junction with the Tunnel Trail and just past Burgundy Dome heading south.
