Many areas in The Southern Yosemite area including Shuteye have access roads that may be closed due to the recent 2020 fire season. Check with the local Forrest service before heading out there as you may get turned around at a locked gate and waste a day heading somewhere else.
Description
A short wall with a 4 star crack (Jamcracker). Two other cracks and a 12b face climb can be found here. Anchors are easily accessed for top roping if you’re into that sort of thing.
Getting There
Once you feel you finally are done gaining elevation (you’re not but almost) and you’ve passed Stalagmite wall on your left, you’ll be close. Keep looking to your right for the top of the crag. Crag faces away from your approach so the first time here might take a minute to find it. There’s a good map in Grahm Doe’s guidebook-thats now out of print I heard!
