Description
A lovely crag stacked with well protected moderates on good rock a short approach all in a amazingly beautiful setting . The weather on the north side of Thompson Pass tends to be better but it should be mentioned that certain times of the summer can be quite buggy. Most walls receive sun from the morning to till about 5pm and the parking for the crag, off the Richardson Hwy on the old highway, offers a reasonable place to camp. If a bit of white water is your cup of tea it’s also worth mentioning its a great put in for the Lower Tsaina canyon run.
Getting There
Drive the Richardson highway and be on the look out for the 43 mile marker. Directly across from mile post 43 is the remains of what was the old Richardson highway. Turn on to the highway and directly above you will be the lower wall. Gain access either by a fixed rope on the right hand side or a trail on the left hand side that leads to McAlpine sector, upper wall and over to the lower wall.
