Description

There are three boulders lying in the middle of the dried-up riverbed approximately a quarter mile down from the actual Falls. One magnificent mushroom cloud rock and two shorter warm-up boulders with decent problems reveal themselves when the river is really dry during the summer months. The rock is sharp around some of the side edges and underclings, while the slabby top is decently covered with debris. There is definitely some potential for pretty hard climbs up the center of the largest rock.

Getting There

Park in the regular waterfall parking, hike down the trail with pads, and hop across the narrow waterways. Or you can park on the dirt side of the bridge and take the path down the other side of the river through the flat grass section. This parking (eh), is at the base of the blocked dirt road that is a steep incline. From here, walk into the grass section adjacent to the bottom of the dirt road on the east side of the river (not walking up the dirt road), and continue through the flat paths until you can clearly walk down to the riverbed (obvious). The boulders are obvious if the river is dry.
