Description
The north side of Whiskey Rock is a fantastic place for offwidth climbers to test themselves with some other variety thrown in. Route lengths and grades are pretty similar to Vedauwoo, with very physical cruxes requiring a certain finesse.... Must-do climbs are the classic Whiskey Crack, 5.9+, Sleep, 5.11b+, and Nocturnal Emission, 5.10b. There are plenty of crack boulder problems strewn about that will test your skills. Bring plenty of tape, this rock is even sharper than Vedauwoo.
Getting There
From the beginning of FR 211 (the gravel road) driving towards Molly Gulch Campground, drive about 4 miles, and there is a parking/camping spot with some trees on your left before the road goes up a hill and makes a big bend to the left towards sheeprock. Park there and be courteous if people are camped there.
To approach the crag, head uphill towards the obvious pile of rocks. It is a 5 minute walk.
