This is the most frequently visited part of Bear Canyon. A short approach, comfortably spaced bolts, good rock quality, soft grades, and the pleasant babbling creek below you make this a very enjoyable location. However, it can get very busy and crowded up here on evenings/weekends due to all of these factors. Most cliffs and routes are west facing.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike up the two track trail past the gate for about 10 minutes. The Bear Canyon ski hill on your right is private land. After a camp spot with lots of stacked rocks, look for a small trail on your left. Cross the creek on a large log and you should be right near the climbs.
