Description
Mitchell Creek Canyon has easy to access bouldering. The rock is almost identical to Castlewood Canyon, but the canyon is much smaller and rarely high enough for rope climbing. There is potential for at least 50 quality bouldering problems throughout the canyon.
Per Nik Vukovich: be aware that while there are signs that say no rock climbing. Castle Rock Open Space has clarified that bouldering is ok, and "technical climbing", or climbing with ropes/gear of any kind, is not. Please contact Barbara at 303-472-6986 with questions.
