Description
Mean Street is set apart from the rest of the cliffs at Rocky Butte because the waterfall (seasonal) nearly drowns out the sound of the freeway and creates an almost pleasant atmosphere.
Mean Street is between Warrior Wall (around the #3 Marker) and Toothpick Wall (#2 Marker). From the top, this section is indicated by the chain link fence and guardrail along the road, which protects from the sharp drop-off. There is no upper cliff-side trail to use here.

Getting There
Like all the areas at Rocky Butte, If it's your first time, take the perimeter trail that begins at the far end of the church parking lot and hike east til you reach a sharp bend at the freeway, then walk back northwest along the freeway until you see the water drainage creek (10 minutes?). IF you're a seasoned Rocky Butte climber take the 4th class scramble "Guardrail Descent Trail" then hike skiers Left when you reach the bottom of the cliff band.
