Description Suggest change

This is a 60 yard long corridor formed by two rock walls located on the west side of the Red Cross Cliffs Draw, approximately 40 yards from Cliff 1. While no signs of human modification are obvious, it is possible that this formation and the straight wide path it creates are a remnant of former industries in the Fells. If the graffiti and janky park-style grill are any indication, the area is an occasional hangout spot for folks.

Several climbs can be found along both the South and North Walls of the Corridor, with the majority occurring along the western end of the formation where the walls are highest. Notable problems include the "Slanty Traverse" and "Love PDC" on the South Wall, as well as the small cave problem ("Chimney Stem") and slabs on the North Wall.

Getting There Suggest change

The greater Red Cross Cliffs area is located to the west of Red Cross Path. It is best accessed by turning off the path and heading west along the draw ~50 yards north of the path's junction with Mud Road. The Corridor area is an obvious, long, wide gap 40 yards due west of Cliff 1. If you cross the creek, you've gone too far.
