Description
Evergreen Drive provides access to two of the newest crags at Skaha: Foreplay and Canoe Cliffs. Easy approach and plenty of routes!
Getting There
At the moment you can still access Foreplay Cliffs and the Canoe Trail Crags from the powerline access road, but this could change once construction of the new development at the end of Evergreen starts and depending on the behaviour of our climbing community. Please do not enter the new housing development site - we have negotiated alternate accesses with the developer who has donatd 120 acres of land to the provincial park. Respect the new directions below or we may lose access.
Turn east from South Main Street and wind your way up Pineview Road until you are forced to turn right onto Evergreen Drive (about 1.5 km). Follow this for about 500 m until you see the new City of Penticton parking lot on your left. Do not park on the street.
From here, follow the directions to either Foreplay Cliffs or the Canoe Trail Crags.
If you are allergic to Poison Ivy be vigilant; there are lush growths of it along this trail.
