Description

A detached and separate area from the rest of Pigeon Cliff. This area doesn't have a large number of routes, but is sheltered from the wind which makes for a great place to climb when its cold or you're just wanting to get away from a crowded weekend.  One of the few areas one can find shade along the base is here too, which makes for a cool place to hang when temps swell.  Setting up a T.R. on many of these routes is not very easy and in some cases downright dangerous as the top of this cliff is both steep and covered in loose scree.  Better to lead the routes which fortunately are all well protected with either gear or bolts and make for some very safe leads.

Getting There

Descend the main trail, but about half way down, look for a scree slope along the base of the cliffs on your left leading down around the wall. Follow this scree down and round the corner.  The routes are all just around the corner.
