These walls face south and southwest and are at the top of the left ‘ear’ of the teddy bear head. All day sun, though the juniper trees at Juniper Wall give a few routes and the belayers some shade.  This sunny and well protected alcove may be the warmest location in all of Teddy Bear Cove and Massacre Rocks for winter climbing.

Getting There Suggest change

Park on the rim and access the area through the ATV gate at the west end of the top of the rim (please close the gate behind you). A short walk along the crag brings you to the first routes of The Pit.  Continue along the base of cliffs to a sandy bench and the start of the climbs on Juniper Wall.
