Description

A nice granite dome overlooking Shaver Lake that is home to many bolted slab routes. The approach is short, the climbing is good, the views are great. Shouldn't need more than 10 draws to climb here, but there are options for some gear so some people may want a light rack. I'm listing these as sport, but they're bolted ground up and can be runout, especially the older routes in the middle of the wall.

Getting There

Follow HWY168 past Shaver lake and you'll see the dome overlooking the upper part of the lake. 100yrds after the Big Creek turn-off is an unmarked logging trail on the left, this trail leads to the dome. Park at a logging landing about 50yrds in. Follow the dirt road under power lines for 100yrds then right up the steep logging cat track. When the track begins to level, head left (north) on another cat track until it intersects the dome. The climbs are on the right side of the dome
