The permitting process is a fairly confusing and complicated and requires you to get your permits IN MENDOZA. You can only get single day trekking permits at the Honcones Valley Ranger Station.

Description
Pampa de Lenas is the first camp you reach when following the Vacas Valley trail.
There is a large boulder in the center of camp.
"Fresh" water (though highly recommend boiling or treating it) and a bathroom are available at the camp.
Grades are based on doing all the routes in approach shoes or sandals.
