Description

Bored with Elvis wall? Looking for some well protected steep slab routes, perfect corners, even a decent multi pitch or two? Look no further. This area has seen some re-bolting and overall route improvement over that last decade and has shaped up to be, IMO, much better than elvis wall and such. (Main wall left in the guidebook) That being said there still lie some “Scary Barry” routes down there with nice runs and old bolts. (Surprised by love is one, but so so good).

Getting There

A couple rap stations can be found next to (skiers right) the grassy gully that divides this area from “lower squarenail” as per the guidebook. (Which you can purchase locally from cressmans store. Pick yourself up a fresh beerock or breakfast burrito while you’re there, you won’t regret it). You could also rap in from far skiers left on the playground ledge. Lastly you can keep traversing over from Elvis wall.
