Description
Granite (Quartz Monzonite) bouldering set among the sage, junipers, pine, & prickly pear cactus.
The Lower Pipestone Forest encompasses a number of bouldering areas along the Delmoe Lake road and Whitetail Road (north of the '4 Corners')
The climbing is located on BLM & USFS land; please respect the regulations, the land managers, and the other public land users. Please try to mind the vegetation, if there is a trail use it. Be aware that ATV and motos are the other major users in this area.

Getting There
Located between Whitehall and Butte on the east slope of the Continental Divide, minutes off of Interstate 90 and only a short one hour drive from Bozeman.
From Bozeman: Head west on I-90 for 65 miles to Exit 241 (Pipestone).
Turn right and follow Delmoe Lake Road.
From Butte: Head east on I-90 for 18 miles to Exit 241 (Pipestone).
Turn right and follow Delmoe Lake Road.
From Bozeman: Head west on I-90 for 65 miles to Exit 241 (Pipestone).
