Description

Rattle Snake Rock on Jasper Ridge Bio Preserve area at the end of Stanford's Linear Accelerator (S.L.C.T) is the home to sandstone formations. This area has had a 40 year climbing history from the 1930's to the late 1970's. Several noted rock climbers started their climbing career at Rattle Snake Rock, Bill Price, Ron Kauk, Dave Yerian to mention a few. The rock at Rattle Snake Rock is similar to Castle Rock State Park, Mazzones, Handley's Rock, Devil's Canyon area's.

Getting There

Their is no access for climbing here and is on Stanford property with no trespassing!
