This permit covers Non-Motorized walk-in access to the Coos Bay Millicoma Tree Farm, including the Callahans climbing area west of Roseburg, Oregon.
When parking on Touchstone Rd, do not block the school bus turnaround and be respectful of all neighbors. As private timberland, climber compliance with the permit system is critical for Access Fund and SW Oregon Climbers Coalition to explore future improved access with Weyerhaeuser, such as a recreational lease.

Description

This is the largest cliff formation just north of Fantasy Island or which Shark Tooth Rock with its commanding view over the valley is the predominant feature. Shark Tooth Rock itself has two short routes ( 5.9 & 5.11a) from the uphill saddle but for the most part the southeast side remains unexplored and rarely visited. A large low angled and stepped sandstone dome sites to the north of Shark Rock. There are two short toprope routes worth noting on the south side of the dome (5.7 & 5.10a). From this dome a narrow ridge just out with a small pinnacle (5.7, A1) sitting on top this narrow ridge.
