The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Worth the walk, the Asteroid Boulder Area has a number of quality problems from V-easy to V10 on typically high quality stone.

Expansive views and fun climbing make this worth a visit.

Getting There

Starting from the Manx Boulders hike east 500 meters or so following a sandy wash. Once you reach the Little Bighorn Area it's another 500 meters or so east to the Asteroid Boulder Area.
