These boulders are on private land. The owner is comfortable with climbers visiting the boulders as long as they do not disturb neighbors or leave trash behind. We asked the owner's permission before putting the boulders on MP.
Description
The relativity boulders are a cluster of ten or so massive blocs in the small community of Pine Cove. The climbing here has a mix of both typical granite slabs and cracks as well as some unique and distinctive problems that will test your power, endurance, and footwork. The quality of the problems is more consistently good than either the South Ridge or the County Park although the quantity is fewer than both these areas. Definitely worth a visit!
Getting There
From the Spirit gas station in Pine Cove take Pine Cove rd for about five minutes to a right bend in the road with a pullout (space for ~4 cars) on the left. This pullout is about 200 feet before the road turns into a dirt road and is across the street from a historical marker describing the location as the location of a relativity-related physics experiment decades ago. Park in the pullout and walk down the dirt and gravel driveway into the property. The boulders will come into view within a couple of minutes.
