This permit covers Non-Motorized walk-in access to the Coos Bay Millicoma Tree Farm, including the Callahans climbing area west of Roseburg, Oregon.
When parking on Touchstone Rd, do not block the school bus turnaround and be respectful of all neighbors. As private timberland, climber compliance with the permit system is critical for Access Fund and SW Oregon Climbers Coalition to explore future improved access with Weyerhaeuser, such as a recreational lease.

Description

Java Rock is a short wall directly above Turtle Rock encountered on the trail to Double Chocolate. Java has three established routes that range from 5.9 to 5.10d and 45 to 55 feet in height. Top anchors are easily accessible for toproping. This area sits is shadowed by trees and will require maintenance at the beginning of each season until it too is enveloped into the ever expanding clearcut.

Getting There

From Turtle Rock follow the trail that climbs up hill then contours northward towards the base of Double Chocolate.
