Description
The guidebook lists 5 crags (sub-sub-areas), with 43 routes, a mix of bolted and trad. Some routes are quite long.
This sub-area includes the crags that are "up" a ways above the lower crags (see "4. Left Side by Water's Edge").
Once you walk up to the top of the dam, perhaps the first area that the climber's eye is drawn to is the crag "El Pantocrator" with its stunning clean sweep of rock (photo), breached by two "4-star" routes: En El Nom del Pare Bolt (6c/A0, 6b oblig.) and Un Par de Ostias (7a+, 6b+ oblig.)
