Access Issue: RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek Details

Description

This is the wall directly across from Mars Hotel and the La Sal Mountain Viewpoint Area. Eric Bjornstad describes one route in his Desert Rock I guidebook.

Getting There

From the Arches NP visitor center, drive 2.6 miles up the road. From here you can either take the side road to the large parking lot for the La Sal Mountain Viewpoint. Either park here and walk back to the main road, or park at the turnout just before or after the road leading to the viewpoint. Cross the road to the West/North and continue heading towards the large cliff on that side of the road.
