Description Suggest change

Kalaloch Beach 3 is home to a number of potentially climbable boulders, including the impressive Low Tide Boulder.  More development will be needed to make this area worth the effort, but the potential for top class bouldering on the beach is definitely there.  While this area would hardly be practical for day trip climbers from the Seattle area, those looking for greater adventure in the form of a weekends worth of camping, hiking, and first ascent bouldering in some of the most picturesque bouldering grounds in the region should look no further than the Olympic Coast and Kalaloch Bach 3.

Getting There Suggest change

US HWY 101 south of Ruby Beach and just north of the Kalaloch Beach Campground. Park in the designated parking area for Kalaloch Beach 3. Walk down the access trail to the beach. South of the access trail are a number of potentially climbable boulders, presenting a variety of angles, hold types, etc.  Continue south along the surf for about 5 minutes at low tide to access the Low Tide Boulder
