Description

Rock face in the middle of a sparse area of climbing in the T.H. Broyhill Walking Park; Mostly granite-like rock with some loose holds that are easy to recognize. Not many spots at a moderate height to top out and relatively sketchy down climbing; Hard to place protection on rock slab directly below climbs, but good, however sometimes strange, terrain and up climbing. Leaves typically abundant in fall and winter on some flat surfaces and very easy approach.

Getting There

Drive down to the T. H. Broyhill walking park in Lenoir, NC by the Lenoir Golf Course, and park in the front lot. After that, walk down the large concrete loop to the left, and continue until reaching a brick-paved left path with a turnable statue near its entrance. Continue straight on that path until you reach a pond with Asian decorations, and the rock face will be on the left.
