Description

The highest peak on Baja, el Diablo, la Encantana.

The high plateau of San Pedro de Martir, the Brown and Blue Bottles. Granite pillars in the forest.

The Canyon del Diablo. Deep, long canyon with 15 km of granite. 100 routes in the lower narrows.

The west side of this great range is verdant, old growth Sierra forest.

The east side is one of North America's greatest escarpments, plunging 10,000 ft from the summit of el Diablo to the playas of San Felipe.

Approach:

From south of Ensenada for the Plateau and the peak.

For the Canyon; approach from just north of San Felipe
