Description
Wild Cadapria is a south-facing small wall with a tiny cave in the center of the wall. It overlooks the Masua beach and ocean so it makes for a scenic location to climb. The climbing is generally harder but a couple of mid-grade 6's make for good warmups on nice stone.
Getting There
Drive to the Masua beach area and follow the signs for the Porto Flavia parking. The parking at Porto Flavia is free. It's a small lot that accommodates roughly 10 cars. Park in the Porto Flavia parking and walk back up the road you drove in on to the small one-lane bridge. Cross the bridge and immediately turn left up a gated road/trail. (You can actually park in the pullouts just before or after this bridge if you'd prefer.)
Follow this road/trail past a couple switchbacks to a signed singletrack track trail on the left. Take this trail and follow it for five minutes or so. The Wild Cadapria wall will be visible uphill from you as you hike this trail. Look for a small cairn and a less obvious climber's trail that leaves the main trail just below the wall. Hike uphill on this trail to the base of the wall. Approach time from the car park is about 20 minutes.
