Description

The Pleasure Dome is part of the Parking Lot Rocks group of boulders and is, as the name suggests, a 25-foot high granite dome with an almost infinite number of  friction problems including a complete V2 (5.11b) circuit traverse around the base of the whole dome. You should remember that a mountain bike jump runs down the 5.7 (VB) friction ramp up the center of the dome, so climbers should be aware of approaching mountain bikes about to do the jump.

Getting There

Walk in from the Parking Lot on Lyons Reservoir Road about 50 feet and turn hard left down a small mountain bike path till you come to the back of the Pleasure Dome. Either go right or left to descend to the face of the dome.
