Description Suggest change

The often overlooked state of South Australia sits at the bottom middle of this vast continent. It is home to some good climbing areas, especially the remote climbing area of Moonaire. Moonaire is an adventurous multi pitch trad climbing area, a worthy stop on an Australian rock climbing tour. There are other decent rock climbing locations in the state, but they are probably of more interest to the locals.

Getting There Suggest change

From overseas fly into Adelaide International airport. A 5 hour drive from here gets you to Moonaire. Alternatively Moonaire is a 9 hour drive from the Arapiles (a short drive by Australian standards).
