Is closed from 0.2 mi east of Angelus Oaks /at Mill Creek Rd/ to 4.6 mi east of Angelus Oaks /at Hill Ranch Rd/ (San Bernardino Co) - Due to mudslide - Motorists are advised to use an alternate route

Description

A nice selection of moderate bouldering on the east side of Holcomb Valley. This area is totally separate from the main Holcomb Valley climbs. Super easy approach, flat landings and quality featured granite on nice boulders.

Getting There

Approach as for the Holcomb Valley Pinnacles north parking area.

Starting from the intersection of 3N16 and Van Dusen Canyon Road drive east on 3N16 for 1.3 miles to the intersection of 3N32 and head north. After turning onto 3N32 make the first left, after 0.10 miles, onto 3N19 and stay to the right at the Y in the road and park.

The majority of the bouldering is through the entrance in the left side of the fence.

Follow the climber trail that skirts the rocks to access almost all of these problems.

House of Dog Boulder is reached by taking a left at the Y and is located above and right of the small dam.
