Please be respectful of the climbing area and minimize your impact. Access is open but keep a low profile.
The trail leading to the upper wall (just west of Psychology wall) is slowly wearing away. The trail actually continues past the large Ponderosa instead of leading straight up the talus/dirt slope. Please be mindful as we would like to climb here for years to come!

Description
Locomotion Rock is the furthest west of the Kila Crags formations; there are four sport routes on a slab above the road, 5.7 to 10.a.
In October 2019, this area was improved with a new trail dug in from the petroglyph parking lot to avoid walking along the highway, a better-dug trail up to the wall, and two new belay platforms.

Getting There
Drive west past Jackson Meadow's Rd. on Highway 2, past the main crags, past the tall chossy walls and you'll see the short, distinct brown slab above the road, drive a few hundred feet further and make a right into a small parking area. (In the parking area, behind the chain link fence at base of the cliff are some petroglyphs. Neat!) Find the obvious trail to the right of the lot that leads across the talus slope and up to the crag.
