Description
Across the dam there is another large outcropping, which has not seen much development. There is definitely potential for awesome boulders here, but most will require a ton of cleaning and "downed tree management."
Getting There
Enter the park via Parkway Drive. Park at the pullout in front of the dam. Walk across the footbridge to a hiking trail. Follow the trail for 5 mins as it turns south towards "Slippery Rocks." Just before the stream, take the sharp left (east) trail as it heads into a granite dome clearing. The trail continues directly across the clearing. From here, the cliffbands wrap almost all the way back to the dam.
