Upper Black Jacks Bouldering

There are a few different options to navigate the area effectively. The easiest approach is to locate "The Underworld Boulder", which is home to the classics "Spraguesaurus" and "Pyramid Power". Once at this boulder, walk around to the backside to "Spraguesaurus". When facing Sprague, spin around 180 degrees and walk up and rightwards on the rocky, root tiered hill for about 15-20 yards. A few separate large blocks should be visible at this point. One of them resembles a giant axe-head, and it is nearly touching an even larger block with a similar arete feature. This is a sub-section in the Area known as the "Hatchet Area". This point provides a pretty well-centred and easily accessible location.
