Getting There
Driving west on Rt 112 you pass enter the White Mountain National Forest at a large sign on the right. 0.45 miles beyond this, on the right (north) is a green electric box (# 6488) on an embankment.
Park completely off the road opposite this, or in any of the nearby gravel or paved pull-offs.
Enter the woods at the electric box. The path soon reaches an old railroad bed (cairn) then heads down left, then back right through a swampy area and on to the river. Cross the river.
Continue to, and cross, a smaller brook; then look for a logging road up to the right. This leads to a boulder field and Lower Primate Wall. More exact directions and map are given in the Sykes guidebook.
