Description
A huge cluster of rock with a hard overhung side and a more moderate side with some cool looking featured rock. Most, if not all of the lines on this boulder are going to be off the deck and although the landings are flat, they slope away from the wall. Topping out will take some head-game and heavy padding. When all the projects are finished this will definitely be one of the hardest walls in Tucson. Walk off is the stack of boulders near the right side of the 45 wall, you have to go down a little gutter and then hop off.
Getting There
From the 5 Trail Junction, head down the Wilderness of rocks trail for a hundred feet or so. At either the Apopaclip or the Bent Pine Cluster, take a right off the trail and hike through the small hills for another couple hundred feet. The 45 degree wall is one of the largest rocks in the area and is relatively easy to spot. Approach from the junction will take roughly 5 minutes.
