This area is under the Parc Régional de Val-David Val-Morin administration, a daily fee is required to climb, hike, bike etc in the park, FQME members benefit from a rebate as well as group outings. parcregional.com

The little alcove between Monique and Louise gets a lot of sun and dries out quickly. This area is undoubtedly the busiest in the Regional Park, and there are almost always crash-pads and news to share.

In 1939, Monique Gillespie, married to Paul, helped open the famous Gillepsie cross-country ski trail. She and her brothers-in-law were already familiar with the rock faces of Monts Condor, Césaire and King, which they had been climbing since 1935.

La petite alcôve entre Monique et Louise reçoit beaucoup de soleil et sèche rapidement. Ce secteur est sans doute le plus fréquenté du Parc Régional et on y trouve presque toujours des crash-pads et des infos à partager.

En 1939, Monique Gillespie, mariée à Paul, participe à l'ouverture de la célèbre piste de ski de fond, le Gillepsie. Elle et ses beaux-frères sont déjà familiers avec les parois rocheuses des monts Condor, Césaire et King qu'ils grimpent depuis 1935.
