DNR wants to pass on a friendly reminder to display your Discover Pass, not block any gates, and park well off the road to prevent getting ticketed or towed. Access Fund and Washington Climbers Coalition continue to partner with DNR on stewardship and management of the Gold Bar Boulders and their access sites. Description
A giant boulder buried in the hillside with a steep and imposing face. Currently, there is only one problem on the boulder that traverses a line of jugs across the bottom. There is great potential for a few highball problems to be added here.
Getting There
This is the northeastern most boulder in Gold Bar. From the East Forest Warm-up Boulder, follow the trail east, passing Midnight Lichen and Samurai. Look for the obvious face just behind the Metroid Prime boulder.
