Description

Only one problem is on this boulder but it's a classic one. Because it climbs so well it could be a popular spot. Unlike most of the boulders in the Bleachers, this block has edges rather than slopers. Large, smooth, overhanging wall with only a few holds.

Getting There

From Sundial Carpark, hike towards Sundial Peak. Once the trail splits, take a right to Lake Belfield. The Blackbeard boulder is the first boulder you will come to on the right side. Follow the cliff on a decent trail until you run into another wall. Follow this wall down and left. The Quickening is in a pit underneath a roof.
