Description
The Pyramide is a small sub-summit of Mont Blanc du Tacul that has excellent climbing to a spectacular summit.
Getting There
The approach requires glacier travel from any direction and can be accessed from both Helbronner and the Midi tram with about the same approach time. To approach from the Midi, descend the ridge to below the Midi south face and continue heading southwest. Pass by Pointe Lachenal on your right and cross the glacier du geant. The Pyramide can be seen protruding from Mont Blanc du Tacul just prior to the Pointe Adolphe Rey. Approach should take ~1-1.5hours from the tram, and slightly longer on the return (since its uphill).
