Fews Ford

N Carolina > 4. Eastern Region

Description

A few small boulders hidden along the run of the river. Good for a short day out.

Getting There

From the second parking lot in the Eno River State Park, head north on the Buckquarter Creek trail until you cross over the Buckquarter Creek bridge. Then, continue north along the river on the Holden Mill trail for about 1/2 a mile, or until just before you walk under the powerlines, whichever comes first. You'll know you're there when you have to walk over some big rocks in the ground that go into the river.
