Description

This is a formation between Pointy Little Devil and Kindergarten Rock. This is a sub formation within the Monster Proper area. The formation was first climbed by Mike Engle and Vern Phinney in 1985 Ground up. Dark Tower ( 5.8+) is a Rushmore classic.

Getting There

From the climbers Kiosk off HWY 244. Hike North for about 300 feet until there is a wide gully. Monster formation (tall) should be on your right side. Look for the faint climbers trail and hike/scramble up the gully. This will lead you right to Kindergarten Rock on your left as you skirt around it. Point Devil and Dark Tower on your right.
