Description
A local favorite, with most climbers considering this to be the best style of limestone in Puerto Rico. Climbers will be rewarded with an expansive view of the Toa Vaca lake and the surrounding countryside in Villalba. The core sectors are the ones that appear first in the list of sub-areas. They are: El Pasillo, El Balcón, and La Terraza.
For a bit of the story of this crag and video footage of the climbing, see https://youtu.be/FNV73dc_wfw?t=354
For official grades determined by the local community of climbers, please refer to the topo map: https://www.mountainproject.com/photo/124003727. Why? Because very few people have cast their votes through Mountain Project so the ratings shown on the site can be a bit off. Please vote so that there can be a clearer consensus.
DONATIONS: You can donate to the local climbers association, AEPRI, a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on keeping the climbing areas in Puerto Rico safe and accessible.
After a long day of climbing people like to stop at Harry's, the neighborhood bar in front of the basketball court. Harry is a big fan of the tourism that rock climbing brings to the area and will be happy to sell you a cold drink, a bottle of water, and more! https://maps.app.goo.gl/B3DBx5ncJSCyMXWs5

Careful driving back down when wet. Having your brakes lock and your car go sliding is no fun. The road is narrow, the turns are sharp, and you won't have much time to react when cars come the other way around the corner.
