Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Sunny crag with good shade (under a rock lean-to). Climbing ranges from easier slab climbs to harder face climbs. I know of three sport routes ranging from 5.6 to 5.9 in this location.

Getting There

About halfway up the road to split rock is a small dirt pullout with a roadside crag on the right. Park there and make the easy 5 minute walk to the climbs.
