Description

Need an escape from the sun and heat? If the tide is out this may be the answer for you.

The east wall has more approachable grades, with Shape Up being the easiest exit (prusiking aside) at E1. Beware: it has a bit of a bold start, so this is not a good crag for a fledgling E1 leading.

The west wall has many classic hard routes, starting at Bloody Sunday (on the easier side of E4).

Getting There

Rappel in off a stake at the northeast corner of the chasm, about 40m down. If a rope is already there, it is generally fine to use it, otherwise you will need to have a study ab rope to set up (and expect others to use it).

Tides

Quite tidal.  Normal high tide comes up to Shape-Up. Time window for the most seaward end may only be 2 hours.
